what i say...

Born and bred on the North Shore of Auckland New Zealand in the summer of 1988. With a passion for all things creative from a young age I opted to switch the rugby ball for a pad and pen and work my way through art schools onward into photography, art and design.

In 2010 I graduated from Massey University with first class honours in a Bachelor of Design, majoring in Visual communication design. Throughout my time studying I continued to push my design skills and expereince through way of freelance work and design internships to score myself a great graphic designer position at publiceye advertising and design.

Below is a run down of my design history so far...

what they say...

"It's not often you come across such a rare talent... but you have now. Simon started at Public Eye in 2009 as a junior designer and from day one he proved himself as a very talented creative all-rounder. The ability to jump in, take control, combined with a talent to burn plus being a genuine great guy is a rare find. Simon's work covered all aspects of media, and liaised with all clients - from LOreal to Thai Airways and everything in between. So if you have the chance to hire Simon, do it now - you won't be disappointed."

Jeremy Barron
Director

"We have found Simon's work to be consistent, professional, and accurate. His ability to translate our briefs, and our brand's aesthetic, into reality has repeatedly exceeded our
expectations. Additionally, Simon has regularly gone above and beyond due diligence in accommodating short timeframes and last-minute changes."

Sarin Moddle
95bFM Marketing Coordinator

"We initially hired Simon as an intern but quickly moved him onto the full time payroll where he became a valuable member of our team. Simon proved to be reliable, trustworthy and hardworking often committing extra hours to ensure project requirements were met. He showed a willingness to learn new skills and worked hard to develop a deeper understanding of commercial graphic design principles."
